# How do I install the digital certificate on Windows?

Follow these steps to install your digital certificate on Windows:

Click the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner and search for **"Internet Options"**.

Open **Internet Options** and go to the "**Content"** tab.

Click the **"Certificates"** button in the middle of the tab.

In the Certificates window, click “**Import”**.

The Certificate Import Wizard will open. Click **"Next"** to continue.

When asked to select the file, click **"Browse"** and locate the .p12 file you downloaded earlier.

If you don’t see the file, make sure the file type filter is set to **"All files (*.*)"** instead of just “X.509 certificates (.cer, .crt)”.

Select the file and click **"Next".**

Enter the password you created when generating your digital certificate and click **“Next”**.

Keep the default settings and click **"Next"** until you reach the **"Finish"** button.
