How can I update my address on my Segurança Social account?
Once you have received your NISS, you will receive your password to access the Segurança Social website.
It can sometimes take a few working days for the password to be activated.
If you wish, you can update your address to your account. It's very simple, just follow the steps below:
Step 1 - Connect to the website
Access the Segurança Social website by clicking on this link and log in using your NISS and password.
Step 2 - Access the update form
Click on "Perfil" to display the drop-down menu.
Then click on "Dados pessoais".
Click on "Atualizar contactos".
Once on this page simply scroll down.
Then click on "Alterar Dados".
Step 3 - Update your information
All you have to do is insert the information you wish to modify, then click on "Guardar" to save and you're done!
